Why do you need a credit card for trial?
Unlike most apps like Slack, Aether Pro teams are fully isolated virtual machines with their own databases. This provides an unmatched level of isolation and security not available anywhere else to our customers.
Unfortunately, this costs us more for premium service. Every team that joins Aether Pro costs us real money because it's a new virtual machine for us to run for you.
We consider a credit card a signal that you're seriously considering using Aether Pro. We try to make it hard to 'forget' about cancelling: you'll get a reminder before the trial expires, and even if you're past your trial, you can still get a refund up to 30 days, no questions asked.
